Grand Theft Auto VI is built around Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, but Rockstar has now revealed a much wider cast stretching across Leonida’s criminal, music and business worlds. This guide separates the characters Rockstar has given dedicated official profiles from additional named figures introduced in the Extended Look.
Safehouse Social will keep this guide updated as Rockstar confirms more names, relationships and roles ahead of release. Where a detail has not been officially confirmed, it is labelled accordingly rather than filled with speculation.
GTA VI characters at a glance
• Playable protagonists: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
• Officially profiled supporting cast: Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder.
• Additional named Extended Look characters: Lori, Raymond, Val, Andres de Leon and Petra Navarro.
• Release: 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Jason Duval
Jason grew up around grifters and criminals before joining the Army in an attempt to change direction. That clean break did not last. Rockstar says he eventually ended up in the Leonida Keys working for local drug runners, with Brian Heder providing him a place to live in exchange for helping with criminal work.
His partnership with Lucia is the core relationship of GTA VI. The Extended Look reinforces that they operate as a coordinated team across robberies, shootouts and jobs for other figures in Leonida’s underworld.

Lucia Caminos
Lucia Caminos is GTA VI’s other central protagonist. Rockstar says her father taught her to fight from a young age, while her story includes time in Leonida Penitentiary before she returns to the outside world determined to build a better life.
Lucia is not presented as a passive partner to Jason. Official footage shows her taking an active role in combat, robberies and escapes, and the story repeatedly frames the pair as dependent on one another when their plans go wrong.

Cal Hampton
Cal is one of Jason’s closest known associates and is connected to Brian Heder. Rockstar describes him as happiest staying at home, drinking beer and listening to Coast Guard communications, making him one of the more paranoid and reclusive personalities in the confirmed cast.

Boobie Ike
Boobie Ike is described by Rockstar as a Vice City legend whose business empire spans real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. His partnership with Dre’Quan Priest ties GTA VI’s criminal story directly into Vice City’s music scene.

Dre’Quan Priest and Real Dimez
Dre’Quan Priest is a hustler trying to turn music into a serious business through Only Raw Records. One of his biggest acts is Real Dimez, the rap duo made up of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, longtime friends who have built an audience through music and social media.
Their inclusion shows that GTA VI’s supporting cast is not limited to traditional criminals. Rockstar is using Vice City’s music, nightlife and influencer culture as part of the wider story world.

Raul Bautista
Raul Bautista is an experienced bank robber who is constantly looking for people willing to take bigger risks for bigger rewards. Rockstar characterises him as confident, charming and cunning, and the Extended Look shows Jason and Lucia being pulled into his orbit.

Brian Heder
Brian Heder is an old-school drug runner based in the Leonida Keys. He operates a boat yard and is directly tied to Jason’s early criminal life. Rockstar also identifies Lori as Brian’s third wife, giving us one of the first confirmed family relationships among the supporting cast.

Additional names introduced in the Extended Look
The Extended Look expands the cast beyond Rockstar’s dedicated character profiles. Lori is named as Brian Heder’s wife, while Raymond appears around the opening drug pickup. Val, Andres de Leon and Petra Navarro are also introduced or named during the wider sequence of jobs and social connections shown in the footage.
These characters are included in the Safehouse Social database because they are identifiable from Rockstar’s material, but their full biographies and exact long-term importance remain less defined than the officially profiled cast.
